For some reason, you need to verify email primary email account in PayPal but you can’t see the edit and send confirmation button. In this post, I will let you know how to send email confirmation in PayPal to verify and set it as primary email.
By default, PayPal sends you a confirmation email link once you have created a new account. However, there are instances that you have forgotten to verify it. Once you have changed email address, it will always be unverified, so you have to send the confirmation manually.
It is required to have a verified email account in PayPal to have seamless transactions. You can receive payment through this email address or fund transfer using this account.
Most importantly, your verified email address is used for communication with PayPal. It allows you to get updates, notifications and OTP when logging in.
How to send email confirmation in PayPal
If you can’t see the send confirmation button in your account, you need to add a temporary email address. Then you should set the temporary email address to primary.
Upon setting this up as a primary email address, your previous email address will fall into the second list. Now you should be able to see the send confirmation button.
To send a confirmation link, click ellipsis button > click on send confirmation. Next you have to open and click the verify button in your inbox.
Once the email has been confirmed, set this as the primary email. Then you may now delete the temporary email address you have added earlier.
This will be the same goes to your mobile number, if you want to change the current primary mobile number, you have to add a new mobile number. Set the new mobile number as primary mobile number, then you can now delete the previous mobile number.
