The optional module, Imagick is not installed or has been disabled. This error notification happens when the Imagick module is not installed or missing from your WordPress site. You can see the message in the Site Health section of WordPress.
As said, the module is not installed, to fix the issue, you need to enable the missing Imagick module in WordPress. To do this, go to cPanel and look for the PHP extensions setting, then enable the Imagick module.
After installation, go back to the WordPress site health and see if it fixed the issue.

The Imagick module is recommended to improve website performance. It is an open-source software for displaying, converting, and editing raster images and vector image files.
How to install Imagick PHP extension in shared hosting
- Login to your website’s cPanel, navigate to Software then select PHP version.
- Under PHP Selector, click on the Extension tab then select Imagick from the list.
- Once enabled, it will be automatically saved and you go back to the WordPress dashboard.
How to check if Imagick installation is successful
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Site Health.
- Click Passed tests, scroll down, and look for Required and recommended modules that are installed. If it is present then you have successfully installed it.
What to do if Imagick is not installed after enabling
If you are still getting the message of requiring an Imagick module, go back to your cPanel and see if the module was unchecked, if so, then repeat the process. If the message persists after re-enabling, you need to contact a web professional or hosting provider.
