I received a welcome eGift 10,000 GCash from Moneymax.
I stumbled upon this Moneymax advert in Facebook back in March 2023. The Facebook ad says, when you apply and get approved for any Citi credit card via Moneymax, you can receive a free gift. You can choose from 10,000 GCash eGift, Apple AirPads 2 or Sony WH-CH720N.
To get qualified for the gift, you need to spend at least 10,000 (single or accumulated) within 60 days of approval.
Moneymax promo mechanics
To join the Moneymax promo, you have to apply and get approved for a Citi credit card.
- Minimum annual income: P250,000
- Valid to new Citibank clients only (no existing card from Citi)
- Applicant must be an existing Credit card holder from any bank excluding Citi for at least 6 months
- Application should be made via Moneymax link and completed through the Citibank website, otherwise you’ll get only 6,000 GCash eGift.
- Pay attention to the recent promo duration, check their website or Facebook page to get the recent promo period.
Who can apply for a Citi credit card?
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be a Filipino or a foreigner with local residence
- Must be employed for at least 1 year
- Must have an active home phone number (landline or mobile)
What are the requirements to apply for a Citi credit card?
- 1 valid ID (SSS, TIN, Passport, Driver’s License, Company ID)
- Latest ITR (Form 2316 or Form 1701)
- 1-month latest pay slip or latest audited financial statements
How to apply for a Citi credit card via Moneymax?
To apply for a Citi credit card via Moneymax and get a chance to receive a free gift, visit their link https://www.moneymax.ph/credit-card. Look for the Free 10K Gcash, Apple AirPods 2 or Sony WH-CH720N tag in each Citi card. Read carefully the card features, requirements and fees and charges. Click the Apply button to proceed, you will be redirected to a new page and let to choose the preferred gift. Select your gift, fill out all personal information then click Submit button. You will be redirected to the Citibank website.
You can read all the Credit card features and answer all the eligibility questions. Fill out personal information then click the Begin application button. An email will be sent to you regarding your application.
If you are eligible for the credit card you applied for, a bank representative will call you within 4-5 days. Prepare all necessary documents including valid ID and proof of income. These documents will be asked for when they call you.
Once approved, your Credit card will be sent to you by courier. You have to present a valid ID to receive the card.
How to activate the Citi card?
Citi credit card was approved and received by you. You can activate the card by mobile app, online portal or phone banking.
- To activate via mobile app, download Citibank PH, tap user registration > input 16-digit card number > input CCV and date of birth > enter the OTP sent via SMS or in app > tap Activate Card now > tap continue to proceed with the registration.
- To activate via Citibank online portal > visit Citibank website > click Logon > click Register > input 16-digit card number > input CVV and date of birth > enter the OTP > click Activate card now > click continue to setup to proceed with account registration.
- To activate via self-service phone banking > dial 8995-9999 > input 16-digit card number > press 1 to activate.
What to do next?
To qualify for the eGift promo by Moneymax and Citi, you have to spend at least 10,000 single or accumulated using your new Citi credit card within 60 days. All of your transactions, credit limit and statement are available in Citibank online or Citibank PH mobile app. You can pay Citi credit card statement via GCash, UnionBank, BDO, BPI, Metrobank and other banks and all SM and Robinsons Department stores and supermarket.
How to claim Moneymax welcome gift?
Send the following details to max@moneymax.ph, they will check your name with Citibank and if you meet the promo mechanics.

- ARN: It is a 12-character alpha-numeric sent by Citi Philippines <Citialerts.Philippines@citi.com> via the email you used to apply for the credit card. It is a reference number sent to all Citi credit card applicants after completing the form on Citi’s website.
Once they verified your account details, they will send the eGift via email.
Tip: search for Giftaway in your email regularly, especially if you are receiving a lot of email daily. Click the link from your email to redeem the gift card code. Input your email address where the code was sent and your active GCash account number.
